Violinist Jacqueline Shave is the Leader of the Red Note Ensemble. She lead the Brindisi Quartet for 15 years and the Schubert Ensemble from 1989-94, and has been leader of the Britten Sinfonia since 2005. She has also appeared as guest leader with the London Sinfonietta, Nash Ensemble, BBC SSO and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, amongst others.
