Red Note’s much-loved series celebrates fresh sounds and emerging voices, bringing together composers, performers and curious listeners in a relaxed setting where experimentation is encouraged and anything can happen.

Our players, Fiona Winning (viola), Tom Hunter (percussion) and Martin Story (cello) will perform up to eight brand new five-minute works selected from our open call.

Feeling inspired? Take on the 10-Minute Composer Challenge. Create a musical idea on the night, and you might hear it performed before the evening is over.
