SUMMARY:Call for Scores - Noisy Nights Hybrid
DESCRIPTION:As we move steadily and hopefully towards the return of live events\, at Red Note we are excited to play together again with these outstanding musicians: \n\nRuth Morley – Flute\,\nTony Moffat – Violin\,\nRobert Irvine – Cello.\n\nThis new hybrid edition will involve a one-off concert\, recorded live possibly with a small socially distanced audience in Glasgow and premiered online on our YouTube channel on Friday 9th October. \nOn this occasion we would like to put the focus on the talent of young composers\, supporting the next generation in contemporary classical music. \nCall for Scores \nAre you a young (still at high school full time) composer interested in writing a 3-5min long piece? Then this call is for you. \nInstrumentation for this call for scores is Flute\, Violin and Cello. Please note the scores should not include electronics or any pre-recorded parts\, and consider that concerts are rehearsed and performed in a short timeframe. \nYou can ask your school music teacher for advice and help\, and if you have questions for the players just send an email to the address below and we will get an answer for you as fast as possible.  \nFull score and parts in pdf format to be submitted to Rocio Leza (admin@rednoteensemble.com) by 5pm (BST) on Monday 21st September. Please include your name\, age and school in your submission email. Late submissions will not be considered. \nChallenge accepted? \nPlease help us spread the word by sharing this call with your friends and contacts. \n  \nRed Note is a PRS Foundation Talent Development Partner.
