SUMMARY:Red Note Fridays@3: Eddie McGuire's Euphoria
DESCRIPTION:Join us on our YouTube channel every Friday afternoon at 3PM for a session of new music where we release unseen performances\, delve into our recorded albums and meet the composers.  \nFriday 29th May: We take a closer look at Euphoria\, the second track from Eddie McGuire’s ‘Entangled Fortunes’ (Delphian Records). Eddie McGuire is one of Scotland’s greatest living composers. A renaissance man\, his compositional voice is informed by a broad wealth of cultural experience and by an unlimited melodic creativity. In this intensely beautiful and unpretentious music\, folk-like tunes appear naturally\, taking their place in a world of invention large enough to contain minimalist gestures\, intense romanticism\, meditative silence and sudden drama.
