DESCRIPTION:Factory Weekend is an opportunity for classical music performers\, aged 18-28\, to take part in a weekend of creative music making.\n\n\nYou might be studying at a Conservatoire or University\, or you are out in the world building your career and practice as a musician. If you want to explore and develop contemporary music skills for performers\, in a fun and supportive environment\, then this is for you! No previous experience in contemporary music needed – just curiosity and enthusiasm. \nCoffee\, tea and snacks will be provided\, and also lunch on the Sunday. \n\nFor more information and to apply click HERE \nIf you have any questions or need any further information\, please contact us at admin@rednoteensemble.com. \n\nPlease note\, the workshop will be held at the Scottish Opera offices\, which is an old building. SUMMARY:Red Note Ensemble at soundfestival 2026
DESCRIPTION:The programme features Embryonic\, a powerful new work by acclaimed Canadian composer Bekah Simms\, commissioned by Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and Red Note Ensemble.
