DESCRIPTION:The summer of sport may be over\, but we’re just getting warmed up. \n\n\n\nRed Note’s much-loved series celebrates fresh sounds and emerging voices\, bringing together composers\, performers and curious listeners in a relaxed setting where experimentation is encouraged and anything can happen. \nOur players\, Fiona Winning (viola)\, Tom Hunter (percussion) and Martin Story (cello) will perform up to eight brand new five-minute works selected from our open call. \nFeeling inspired? Take on the 10-Minute Composer Challenge. SUMMARY:Red Note Ensemble at soundfestival 2026
DESCRIPTION:The programme features Embryonic\, a powerful new work by acclaimed Canadian composer Bekah Simms\, commissioned by Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and Red Note Ensemble.
