SUMMARY:Make Your Own - Workshop Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday 17th February at 7pm for our Make Your Own music writing workshop and learn more about instruments and composing with three Red Note players. \nMake Your Own is a new workshop series\, created to help make the world of writing new music accessible to all. \nThis is a hybrid online / live in-person session and will feature flute\, cello and percussion. Join us in person at the Glad Cafe in Glasgow or online via Zoom. \nThis workshop is also designed as an introduction to Noisy Nights\, an opportunity to compose for a concert featuring the same players later in the year. \nThe workshop will be fun\, informal\, friendly and informative\, and designed to help everyone – whether a seasoned composer or a curious newcomer with no musical training – to write their own new music. You might even get the opportunity to write for our players during the evening. \nIf you are interested in learning more about the workings of these instruments and writing music for them\, then register for a place to attend this workshop. \nRegistration for the event: if you would like to attend the event in person please click here to book your place – if you want to attend the event online than please click here. \nWhen booking your ticket make sure to check that you are on the right event\, either IN PERSON or ONLINE. \nPLEASE NOTE that this event has very limited capacity (both online and in person) so if you are not able to attend the workshop we ask you to please let us know at least 24 hours prior to the event so we can release your place to someone else.
