SUMMARY:Go Compose! 2020
DESCRIPTION:Spend some time developing your skills in composition with the help of professional composers Naomi Pinnock and Gareth Williams who will guide you through the process of writing a piece of music from start to finish. You will write a trio for the French horn\, viola and cello played by Red Note Ensemble musicians Chris Gough\, Katie Wilkinson and Robert Irvine.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe course will be delivered online via zoom. To take part you will need a laptop or computer with music writing software and decent internet connection for the Zoom workshops.*\n\n*sound have laptops with Sibelius software they can loan participants based locally for the duration of the course. Please indicate on your application if you require this and they will contact you about collection and drop off.\n\n\n\n\nTimetable\nThis is an approximate course timetable – full details will be given upon registration.Sun 11 Oct | 2 – 8pm\nMon 12 Oct | 10am – 5pm\nTue 13 Oct | 10am – 5pm\nWe aim to end the course with some form of sharing or pre-recorded concert TBC.\n\n\n\nTo apply for a place on Go Compose please complete the online registration form here.
