SUMMARY:A Children's Guide to Anarchy
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this showing is not opened to the public. \nIf we gave children time and space to express their vision for the principles that should guide our lives what would they say? What truths are to be found in their youthful wisdom? “Out of the mouths of babes” after all is a phrase we’ve been using for hundreds of years.  \nSo rather than DO AS YOU ARE TOLD told this project has asked TELL US WHAT TO DO.  \nCreated with the children of Oakwood primary alongside community groups from Easterhouse\, Red Note Ensemble and Dumbworld\, “A Children’s Guide to Anarchy”\, is a child-led\, musical guide to living in the 21st Century!  \nWe will be presenting the finished product to the Oakwood Primary Schools families on Wednesday 14th June at Platform! Seven songs in the form of animated posters will be showcased\, along with a performance of songs by the Oakwood Primary School pupils and Red Note Ensemble.  \nRed Note Ensemble\nJackie Shave\, violin\nRobert Irvine\, cello \nRuth Morley\, flute\nWill White\, clarinet/bass clarinet\nTom Hunter\, percussion  \nBrian Irvine\, conductor \nWith the Oakwood Primary School pupils (P1 to P7).  \nRed Note Ensemble Ltd is a PRS Foundation Talent Development Partner supported by PPL and is supported by Creative Scotland. The project is supported by the Youth Music Initiative.
