SUMMARY:Go Compose! Sharing Session at Soundfestival 2021
DESCRIPTION:Having spent time developing their skills in composition with the help of professional composers Karen Power and Joe Duddell\, these young composers have been guided through the process of writing a piece of music from start to finish for the alto flute\, percussion and double bass. At the end of this course\, Red Note and sound present a showcase of their works. \nRed Note Ensemble\nRuth Morley\, alto flute\nTom Hunter\, percussion\nIain Crawford\, double bass \nSupported by Aberdeen Endowments Trust\, David and June Gordon Memorial Trust\, Gannochy Trust\, Hugh Fraser Foundation\, The Witherby Publishing Group Charitable Trust and EIS Education Committee. \n*Go Compose! is a collaboration between sound and Red Note.
