Red Note String Quartet perform an exciting programme of 20th Century masterworks interspersed with quartet transcriptions of Bach’s iconic ‘Goldberg Variations’. The Bach fragments frame the sumptuous delicacy of Webern’s 5 Movements, Lutoslawski’s seminal Quartet and the virtuosic passion of one of the greatest works ever written for quartet; Bartok’s amazing second quartet.
