RED NOTE CALLS FOR SCORES

The Current Noisy Night Calls for Scores are as follows (please read the Conditions included below before submitting):

  1. 1)Submissions are welcome for scores written for an ensemble of 3 Wagner Tubas (1 tenor tuba, 2 bass tubas) for our  Noisy Night on 5th May 2014 in City Halls, Glasgow. Deadline for submissions: 5pm on Monday 21st April 2014. Clearly the Wagner tuba is a slightly unusual instrument to write for, although much beloved by french horn players - so before settling down to compose your submission, please read this downloadable Wagner tuba crib sheet.pdf written by Red Note’s horn player Andy Saunders. Andy will also be holding a Masterclass for Composers on writing for the Wagner Tuba in Glasgow in April - watch our Facebook and Twitter feeds for dates, venues and times. If you require any further information please contact john@rednoteensemble.com and we will put you in touch with Andy.

CONDITIONS FOR ALL NOISY NIGHTS SUBMISSIONS: no work is to be longer than 5 minutes. All scores and parts (in pdf format) to be sent with the submission. Tape parts (in mp3 format) will be accepted in addition to instrumental parts.

All submissions must be sent to john@rednoteensemble.com. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
